Katy Perry is still around. Is anyone else with me in the desire that one day we’ll wake up and everyone will have united in deciding that Katy is irrelevant and pretty talentless? That day shall come, and it shall be glorious. Anyway, Katy just released several promotional photos from her new album, Teenage Dream. Unfortunately, these aren’t super-cool paintings of a naked Katy on a cloud. No, in these images, Katy shows off her talents in a rubber bikini, of course. Ugh. I hate to admit it (really hate it) but the rubber bikini top is kind of cool. It’s very mod.

By the way, her new single and video is out for “Teenage Dream”. It’s rather… unimaginative. Like, this is the girl who is engaged to Russell Brand, so you know she’s a kinky bitch to keep him interested. So why do a video that’s like a budget J. Also: Katy made fun of Miley Cyrus in a recent MTV interview. She was talking about her style and her new album, and she said: “I’m not coming out trying to prove anything to anyone, like, ‘Oh, I’m in assless chaps!’ or ‘I can’t be tamed!’ … I’ve already been through that phase!” Haha Miley is more successful than you, Katy. Just the fact that Katy is taking a swipe at Miley is making me more Team Miley.
