Andy Kim is an American politician and diplomat. A member of the Democratic Party, he has been a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from New Jersey, since January 3, 2019. He was previously with the U.S. State Department.
His father is a geneticist and his mother is a nurse. He was raised in Marlton, Evesham Township, New Jersey, and later Cherry Hill. Andy is married to tax attorney Kammy Lai, with whom he has two children. He is a Presbyterian.
